Being able to manage the recruiting department for EXCEL

Talking to people on a daily basis

How has EXCEL helped develop your career?
Having good leaders, training, and education

What drew you to EXCEL originally? And how has the company changed?
Meeting Dave when I was with Fluor Daniels, and he asked me to come over and work for EXCEL. At the time, EXCEL was just an I&E contractor. Now, we do it all.

What do you like most about EXCEL?
How close we all work together to achieve one goal

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?
Do not ever give up on a goal that you set for yourself.

What would you do for a career if you weren’t in your current role?
Work in the Medical field

What are your hopes for our industry?
To keep growing and change our government leaders that will help our industry

Who/what inspired you to pursue the career you have today?
My family and Dave Roberts

What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
Criticism is not always a bad thing.

What is the toughest challenge you have had in your career? How did you overcome it?
The day I had to cut one of my team members.

What is something on your bucket list?
I want to see my son graduate from college.

Coaching Baseball
