We welcome John Foster as our new Director of EPC Front-End Services.
John has traveled the world, honing his project delivery and project-certainty skills for application during the pre-FEED and FEED Engineering phases. His extensive experience includes project execution in Canada, Korea, Italy, Belgium, Mexico, and the United States, which often requires him to spend countless nights annually on the road, fulfilling project delivery expectations. John is committed to dedicating his career to improving projects he's involved in and building trust with facility owners by offering “construction-driven engineering” means and methods.
John's career has been marked by his ability to build upon his direct-hire construction field experience and integrate the “lessons learned” into the Engineering Deliverables project. His leadership in EPC front-end services, which maximizes early influence opportunities during the pre-FEED and FEED project phases, has established trust with many clients. During the past few years, he has completed front-end services efforts for over $16 Billion (total install costs) of EPC efforts.
As the Director of EPC Front-End Services, John focuses on getting the construction influence engaged early in the EPC project lifecycle to maximize the impact on engineering, procurement, modularization, and construction execution strategies. Previous constructability efforts have demonstrated that project deliverables resulted in “better defined and more cost-effective” results aligned with the client’s project expectations. A construction-driven approach strives to eliminate project surprises, allows for better internal forecasts of project backlogs, and builds strong working relationships with the Business Development, Construction, Legal, Project Controls, Estimating, Procurement, and Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning departments.
John does not shy away from industry challenges. He is dedicated to proactively overcoming them, ensuring efficient project funding strategies, and implementing innovative solutions to prevent delays and cost overruns. His proactive approach is a testament to his commitment to project success and timely completion.
John's goal is clear—to elevate the company's growth. He plans to achieve this by building teams embedded in engineering offices worldwide and applying Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) strategies for accountability in EPC project deliverables. His previous efforts have resulted in the client, the engineering company, and the construction contractors building the project together in the office twelve to eighteen months before field mobilization.
We are excited to have John join our team and look forward to his impact on our projects.
